Ettore RACCHELLI - Piedmont Region Turism, Sport and Olympic Games Councillor

I'm very pleased that Sauze d'Oulx will be the protagonist of an important event such as the World Mountain Running Trophy. The Piedmont of the future is aiming at great sport events for their performance value and tourist attraction: it's an important occasion to promote our Region and the Susa Valley among the international sport places.

The Olympic mountains offer a lot of natural wonders and hospitality, both for winter and summer tourism, for people fond of winter sports or summer touring.

I wish that this event, which links athletics and performance, could interest spectators, guests and supporters coming from other countries and could give the opportunity to better know this territory.
