Silvana ACCOSSATO - Turin Province Tourism and Sport Councillor

It is a great pleasure for me to write a brief message for the 2004 edition of the World Mountain Running Trophy.

Throughout Turin Province there is a great vocation for sport at different levels: starting from promotional and recreative events till the more technical and specific athletics competitions.

As a public Administrator, my purpose is to promote any new initiative in order to support sporting activities among all citizens and particularly among young people.
I guess that all these athletes, from many different countries, who are competing all together will encourage people to go in for sports.

Many congratulations to all organizers, who are engaging themselves in this event with professionality and I wish them and all athletes the best of luck.
